I have created a simple set of worksheets to help students to focus on what is good in their lives. They can complete this work at the beginning or the end of the day. They could even have it set as homework one week. The idea being that if students know they will need to write about being happy, they will actively seek out happiness to write about. When students write about being happy, they relive that happy moment, and of course become happier!

This is a collection of creative writing prompts, simple tests about the different languages around the world and a presentation about why literacy is an important skill. It also includes some nice posters about why every student should strive to become an active reader.
